To my surprise the first and only to date Piper Jet flew in and stayed with us for a few nights. The pilots were very nice and had no problem answering many of my questions that I had waiting for them. They hangared with us so I got to spend all the time I needed with it haha. Enjoy the pics!
Its official! the new Boeing 787-800 has completed a successful first flight! Glad to see it finally took off. My BA stock was looking a little gloomy after 2 years of delays but after today things are looking better
Enjoy the takeoff and landing videos!!!!
Sorry to disappoint you all but all we got so far was a rotation and a pretty hard nose gear landing. According to FlightGlobal.com Boeing will be making the first flight on the 15th at 18:00 GMT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like everyone hasn’t heard a date for the first flight before. “Sigh” For now enjoy the video of the rotation
Im not going to lie I was a little excited to see this thing finally fly. Its looks pretty nice but will it perform? Probably, But Airbus is getting into a market they haven’t been in before and have some heavy competition. I personally think the thing is nothing but a rip off of the C-17 and newer versions of the C-130. I posted the video of the first flight below.
As I spoke before of the new Facebook game “Airline Manager” there are a few websites that allow you to really get the most for your money. Many of you may find it hard when trying to figure out a route for your aircraft by guessing which point to point flight is the furthest from each other and has the highest route demand. Have no fear though because below I have posted a link to a website that has very kindly created a table that maximizes you aircraft’s potential. Simply enter your aircraft’s max range and select your departure airport and BAM! You have the airport furthest from you destination to get you the most $ per flight. The best way to take advantage of this is to first select the airport with the highest demand in Facebook and then find which airport is furthest from that with the route maximizer.
If you have a Facebook account and always thought of running your own airline then here is your chance. “Airline Manager” is a strategic game that puts you and your friends against each other and compete for who has the best airline. Linked to other Facebook accounts from around the world you fight for the most competeive routes and buy almost any airliner (or private jet) you can imagine. This game is not as simple as it sounds though because you have many things needed to be done to ensure you will be the most profitable. For example you need to price hedge fuel because it changes from high to low all day long same with advertising for your routes. Purchase catering for flights to boost revenue and you even have to repair damaged aircraft and perform C checks on aircraft. I have found my self pretty attacthed to this game and Im not going to lie Im kicking my freind’s buts in it. Just hit $20.00 per share! So I strongly recommend you try this game out for yourself.
Next time Ill let you all in on some inside secrets on how to maximize your aircraft’s range and make the most money per flight. Stay Tuned!
G-650 Revealed!
Sep 29
The day has finally come and Gulfstream has finally rolled out their newest addition to the fleet. The monstrous G-650 is seen below in its factory paint scheme and Gulfstream says they will have it flying by the end of the year! Thanks to my contacts up at KSAV I was able to get some up close pictures of the new jet.
i will be honest though I am not to sure how much I like it. Don”t get me wrong I think its a good looking plane but it doesn’t have the awesome G feel to it. Some are calling it the GLEX ( Gulfstream and Global Express). I guess the size of it can give it the Global Express look but I see more of the futuristic Challenger 300 in the leading edge forward.
